Programs
Offering annual tuition-free summer training programs that focus on providing instruction in the performing arts, the fine arts, language and public health, CiRCO Redempto invites Nosu children from the poorest households to participate in this engaging educational and artistic opportunity.
Why art? Why circus?
Circus is an art that allows for the combination of numerous artistic forms into one - dance, music, theatre, acrobatics, and even visual art. Though the term circus comes from the Roman tradition of public spectacles, many cultures have a rich history of variety performance that includes acrobatics, feats of manipulation such as juggling and public or street art. In addition, the circus form allows for nearly limitless possibilities of innovation, variation and expansion. The word circus also indicates a ring wherein these variety acts are performed. Using the metaphor of a circle, CiRCO Redempto seeks to be inclusive in its operation, welcoming all involved - children, parents, instructors, spectators and sponsors - into its mission of redemption.
